Our registered psychotherapists have expertise in treating adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, and executive function challenges related to perimenopause and menopause. Our services include virtual coaching, psychotherapy, screening assessments, recommendations for accommodations, and consultation services for parents and couples.
Our objective is to broaden our range of assessment services by providing comprehensive evaluations for adult ADHD and mental health concerns. We also strive to provide care for women experiencing symptoms of menopause.
Independent contractor nurse practitioner opportunity – Variable hours
Location – Remote, Ontario
We are currently seeking a nurse practitioner who is empathetic and dedicated, holding a valid license in the province of Ontario, to provide assessment and healthcare services. In this role, you will provide evaluation and treatment of mental health issues with a focus on assessing adult ADHD, anxiety, and depression. You will also provide care for women experiencing symptoms of menopause. Additionally, you will work with a registered psychotherapist and psychometrist to conduct comprehensive assessments.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert clinical virtual care to patients in compliance with HIPAA and PIPEDA regulations.
- Conducting thorough evaluations and prescribing medications.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care and service delivery.
Qualifications we are looking for in a candidate include:
- A master’s degree in nursing and certification as a primary health care or adult/acute care nurse practitioner.
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health.
- Excellent communication skills, empathetic patient care delivery, and non-judgmental approach.
Additional preferred qualifications include:
- Extensive experience in providing care to adult patients presenting with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and symptoms associated with menopause.
- Experience in providing mental health care and virtual care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team of allied mental health professionals (registered psychotherapists).
- Experience in an independent or autonomous practice setting.
