Academic and ADHD Coach
Amanda provides virtual sessions to adolescents (14+), young adults, and adults who have disabilities affecting their executive functioning skills. She can offer services to individuals who live in Ontario. She specializes in assisting individuals with learning disabilities, ADHD, mental health disorders, autism spectrum disorder, chronic medical disabilities, and mobility impairments. With 13 years of experience, Amanda utilizes a Strength-Based Approach, Self-Determination Theory, and Growth Mindset to help clients develop their executive functioning skills. She collaborates with clients to create personalized plans addressing their concerns for use in academic, professional, and personal settings.

Education and Experience
Amanda holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation from the University of Ottawa. She has been a Senior Learning Strategist and Disability Coordinator at the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities at Carleton University since 2011. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as a Program Facilitator and Residential Support Worker, aiding in the reintegration of young women and adult female offenders into society by teaching transitional skills. She also played a key role in creating and implementing the Carleton University Accessible Experiential Learning (CUAEL) Project, now known as ACT to Employ, which offers employment opportunities for students with disabilities.
