Mindfulness is an ancient practice that is currently experiencing a great revival due the work of John Kabat-Zinn. Research indicates that the practice of mindfulness can benefit physical and psychological well-being and has been applied successfully for the treatment of anxiety, depression and ADHD and for chronic pain, menopause and stress management. In this half-day workshop you will be introduced to the history of mindfulness, its’ fundamental principles and have the chance to experience both formal and informal mindfulness. The workshop consists of a mindfulness practices, group discussions and psycho-educational components.
Most insurance plans cover the cost of the program under psychological services.
Cancelation Policy: You will receive a full refund minus $50 administration two weeks before the date of the workshop. After this date no refund will be provided.
